e-learning in schools made easy with blink.it

Practical example

Trainer

Developing the best connection between online and offline is not only a topic for trainers, coaches, and corporations. Schools also hold great potential for a good connection between classroom teaching with the teacher (offline) and self-learning with digital content (online).

The impression a good connection can leave can be heard from teachers and students of Höhscheid Comprehensive School in a contribution on Radio RSG:

Important for e-learning in schools: Didactics and Technology

To improve learning in schools, two things are very important. These are, on one hand, didactics, and on the other hand, technology.

Didactics: From frontal teaching to independent learning with guidance

Didactics can of course be structured in different ways. A prominent form is the use of the so-called flipped learning. Here, the classic model of knowledge acquisition in the classroom and practicing with homework is turned upside down. The student is now supposed to view the content at their own pace and discuss it in class with other students and the teacher.

Of course, this requires a certain level of independence from the students. An important factor for this to work is the teacher's self-concept. They transition from being a knowledge transmitter to a learning facilitator. They help the student learn independently.

Technology: Simpler is better

However, even if the didactics are clear, the question remains of simple technology - both for the student who is consuming and for the teacher who is instructing. And the simpler it is, the better. This is an experience that is even more pronounced in economically operated companies than in schools. For example, trainers and coaches should focus their time on educating their participants rather than navigating software. Similarly, teachers and students should concentrate on their subject matter and not on technical gimmicks. With our experience from training and companies, we can support you in implementing your didactic concept - or in facilitating exchange with other schools we are already working with.
