3 exciting days at LearnTec 2020 are behind us. We take a look back – and give you the answers to the most frequently asked questions from the exhibition booth!
The blink.it team looks forward to the LearnTec every year: Questions, feedback, and suggestions from visitors at our booth are always valuable input for our team and the further development of our platform. Of course, our "honorary employees" were also present: The two penguins that earned us the name "The ones with the penguins!" back in 2018 🙂
The focus of LearnTec 2020 was on the areas of software, eLearning content, hardware, and educational management – thus, all exciting trends for trainers, companies, and educational institutions were represented at Europe's largest fair for digital learning.
In addition to eLearning in all its variations, the connection between face-to-face and online learning was also at the center of attention for visitors. The fact that the term blended learning has now become part of the standard repertoire for continuing education professionals is a development that naturally pleases us as blended learning professionals!

Our team held hundreds of conversations over the three days and answered all questions of the LearnTec2020 visitors. Five questions were asked particularly often. Since the answers are not only interesting for our fair visitors, we summarize them briefly:

1. What does blink.it look like from the user's perspective?
Answer: Very simple – just like from the admin view 🙂 Many classic LMS provide separate interfaces and menu navigation for content creators and participants. With blink.it, as a content creator, you always see exactly what your participants will see later. The interface is clear and intuitive for both creators and participants. After all, digital learning should be enjoyable for everyone involved!

2. Can I integrate ready-made web-based trainings from authoring tools into blink.it?
Answer: Yes, you can integrate certain SCORM format (version 1.2) content into the blink.it platform. Your participants can edit, save, and complete these ready-made web trainings as usual. Since SCORM files are very complex, you will find this feature exclusively in the Enterprise package for businesses.
3. Can I manage (many) users with blink.it?
Answer: Yes! As a stand-alone solution, blink.it offers you all the possibilities for user management without needing additional programs: You can create users via email or import them from CSV files. In the Enterprise package, you also get CSV syncing, which allows for daily automated syncing of your users. A single sign-on (SSO) is also available for a nearly barrier-free access to the learning platform.
4. Do you also offer content and ready-made courses?
Answer: No. We offer you, as a content creator, a unique mix of LMS and authoring tool, with which you can easily create your own content and courses. With blink.it, you have the maximum freedom to individually tailor online learning content to your participants and easily modify it as needed. Of course, you can also reuse entire courses or parts of them repeatedly. In any case, these are your contents for your participants!
5. How do I create courses and content in blink.it?
Answer: Creating content and entire courses in blink.it is really easy, even without technical knowledge. You simply click on "Add Blink", paste your content as a link or from your hard drive (text, image, video, …) and – done. The content is immediately available to your participants.
