Knowledge in the company must be preserved and shared! This was one of the many missions that drove HR developers to LEARNTEC 2022. And we realized again: Knowledge must be easily accessible to everyone.
Our Messe Highlights 2022
Finally being among people again! We really missed the trade fair feeling during the pandemic. It was all the more beautiful to talk face-to-face with people again at Learntec 2022.

For the first major trade fair after the pandemic, there was a lot happening at Learntec. Many were happy to be "outdoors" again.

Whether new learners or long-time customers: Our trade fair team had many great conversations over the three days of Learntec. Many visitors also appreciated being approached directly by our "Blinkies" on-site. This quickly helped us find out if we had common approaches.

With open arms: The Learntec 2022 finally allowed face-to-face exchange again. In the picture on the right: Larissa Jeske.
Lecture: How to Connect Presence and Online Learning
Another highlight was the lecture by blink.it founders Konstantin Ristl and Michael Witzke. The topic: "Training 4.0: How to Achieve the Ideal Connection of Live and Online Learning". As a special bonus, participants of the lecture will receive access to the online course "studio@home – Shoot Videos with Your Own Smartphone" during the week.
Note: Even if you couldn't be at the lecture on-site, you can register here for the free video course:

"The smallest studio in the world" – or "Studio@home": With your regular smartphone and minimal technical equipment, you can shoot high-quality learning videos at home.

Trend Topic of LEARNTEC 2022: Sharing Knowledge
Of course, at a trade fair like LEARNTEC, it’s always about learning. In recent years, our focus at our booth was more on training and further education: Digitalizing these and accompanying them online is the strength of the blink.it learning platform. Experienced HR developers know that learning largely happens not in training sessions but at the entire workplace.
However, what became clear in 2022 was: It's not always about the learning progress of individual employees. Interacting with each other is becoming increasingly important: How can we learn from each other? And how can we preserve knowledge? This is particularly relevant now for HR professionals, as many employees are returning to the office after two years of remote work. Or other employees are leaving the company. Knowledge is also lost whenever that happens. Or is it?
How to preserve and promote knowledge within the company is an exciting topic. Because the exchange between employees works differently than a didactically planned training course. Just casually in the kitchen. Or in quickly created documents, for example, for project handovers. HR developers want to deliberately support this exchange now while simultaneously improving documentation.
How can blink.it assist in Knowledge Transfer?
For simple knowledge exchange among employees, the tool must be exceptionally easy to use. Many tools for further education are complex and didactically so demanding that even experienced trainers have to undergo training first.
Some people were unfamiliar with blink.it and were impressed by how quickly and easily e-learnings can be created. And simultaneously disheartened because they are tied to an existing LMS.

When it comes to usability, blink.it shows a clear strength: The blink.it learning platform can genuinely be used by everyone. This particularly lowers the barriers for employees and makes them eager for more.
For example, a team manager can document all their knowledge in an online course before leaving the company. This is not only more organized than a loose PDF collection in some folder. But it is also easier, more sustainable, and enjoyable at the same time. Or the IT department provides a course for all employees explaining the most important technology guidelines. Or, or, or… Knowledge exchange made easy.
