Learntec 2022: How do I share knowledge within the company?

Trends

Company

Knowledge within the company must be preserved and passed on! This was one of the many missions that drove HR developers to LEARNTEC 2022. And we noticed again: Knowledge must be easily accessible to everyone.

Our Trade Fair Highlights 2022

Finally being among people again! We truly missed the trade fair atmosphere during the pandemic. It was even more wonderful to converse face to face with people at Learntec 2022.

For the first large trade fair after the pandemic, there was a lot happening at Learntec. Many were excited to be "outside" again.
Michael Witzke, Managing Director at blink.it

Whether new learning enthusiasts or long-standing customers: Our trade fair team had many great conversations during the three days at Learntec. Many visitors also greatly appreciated being approached directly by our "Blinkies" on site. This quickly helped us determine if we had common approaches.

Presentation: How to connect face-to-face and online learning

Another highlight was the presentation by blink.it founders Konstantin Ristl and Michael Witzke. The topic: "Training 4.0: Achieving the ideal connection between live and online learning". As a special bonus, participants in the presentation will receive access to the online course "studio@home – Making videos with your own smartphone" during the week.

"The smallest studio in the world" – or also "Studio@home": With your regular smartphone and minimal technical equipment, you can create high-quality learning videos at home.

Trend Topic of LEARNTEC 2022: Sharing Knowledge

Of course, a trade fair like LEARNTEC is always about learning. In recent years, our focus at the booth has been more on training and further education: Digitalizing these and accompanying them online is the strength of the blink.it learning platform. Experienced HR developers know that learning primarily occurs not in training, but at the entire workplace.

However, what also became clear in 2022: It is not always about the learning progress of individual employees. Collaboration is becoming increasingly important: How can we learn from each other? And how can we preserve knowledge? This is especially a topic for HR professionals now, as many employees are returning to the office after two years of home office, or other employees are leaving the company. Knowledge also gets lost in the process. Or does it?

How knowledge can be preserved and promoted within a company is an exciting topic. The exchange between employees works differently than a didactically planned training session. Sometimes just in the coffee kitchen. Or in quickly created documents, for example for project handover. HR developers now want to specifically support this exchange while simultaneously improving documentation.

How can blink.it help with knowledge transfer?

For seamless knowledge exchange among employees, the tool must be particularly easy to use. Many tools for further education are complex and so didactically demanding that even experienced trainers must first undergo training to use them.

Some people were not yet familiar with blink.it and were impressed by how quickly and easily one can create e-learnings with it. At the same time, they were disheartened because they were bound to an existing LMS.
Larissa Jeske, Sales Manager at blink.it

In terms of usability, blink.it shows a clear strength: The blink.it learning platform can truly be used by everyone. This particularly lowers the barrier for employees and makes them eager for more.

For example, a team manager can document all their knowledge in an online course before leaving the company. This is not only more organized than a loose PDF collection in some folder, but also easier, more sustainable, and even fun. Or the IT department provides a course for all employees in which they explain the most important tech guidelines. Or, or, or… Knowledge exchange made easy.
