In the past, we have already reported in detail on the various digital learning methods. Nevertheless, many trainers still find it difficult to categorize them: Which forms are particularly individual? Which require a lot of self-responsibility? And which learning formats are universally applicable?

The systematics of learning methods has been restructured this year: It includes more than 20 different digital learning formats. However, in our experience, not all learning formats are suitable for training or coaching in further education.

Use the systematics to choose the right learning format for your training:

• First, decide whether your digital training format should be highly structured, or whether you want to offer a self-responsible learning process.

• In the second step, consider whether your participants should learn as individually as possible or together.

• Universal formats such as an online platform or learning library are suitable for almost all training and topics. They can be your basis for many other methods.
