You can integrate live online training and webinars at blink.it, but you cannot record/create them directly within the learning platform. As a purely live platform, meaning only with video conferences and without self-learning phases, blink.it is therefore not the right choice for you.

The second important question pertains to the type of content you desire: With blink.it, you can either create your own content or upload existing materials. The concept of blink.it primarily aims to provide compact, punchy learning impulses – in the spirit of microlearning:

“Ease of use” means for a learning platform that it must not be overloaded with functions and menus – the simpler and clearer, the more intuitive the usage is.

What is possible with blink.it: Easily upload and integrate pre-prepared content into the course. Almost everything is compatible – from PowerPoint slides and text or video files to ready-made SCORM files.

What you cannot do with blink.it: Create SCORM files yourself. This means blink.it is not a classic authoring tool that allows you to create extensive and interactive content. A quiz, survey, or exam can be directly created with blink.it – but not large content packages. For this purpose, you also need an authoring tool like Articulate, Adobe Connect, or Slidepresenter. Then you can easily upload the files created there to blink.it.

Question 3: How should the content of your learning platform be accessible on mobile devices?

Finally, you should ask yourself if you have a clear idea of how you want your online platform to appear on mobile devices. With blink.it, you have a web app: This means that the platform looks the same on all devices and can be operated equally. A clear advantage in usability – for both you and your participants. However, some trainers specifically look for a classic app that is installed directly on the devices, for example, because a client has specific guidelines. However, you cannot sell or install your blink.it learning platform in the app store. The access is always through a browser, which allows quick and easy access on many devices – without installation!
