This year's GSA Convention was once again a great success. We from blink.it were on-site ourselves and were able to gather new impressions that we would like to share with you! The #GSACon19 was under the motto “Voices of Change” – What we took away from it, you will learn in this post.
“Voices of Change”?
To be able to talk about this year's theme Voices of Change, here is a brief overview of what makes the GSA Convention so special: Many different speakers give presentations on various topics to an audience. They aim to pass on their tips to others. And this is not without basis – with nearly 200 participants, the convention is one of the most popular events in the industry.
Let us therefore talk about the impact of speeches and presentations! Because not only is the entire working world changing due to digitization, but also the work itself. The Voices of Change symbolically represent the influence you can have as a speaker or presenter on your audience.

Our learning this year: Every conversation can have a tremendous impact
The change of the last few years was also felt at this year's GSA Convention. Because: The perception of what someone says is becoming increasingly sensitive. This means especially for you as a speaker that you can have a tremendous impact on your listeners. For this reason, you should always keep in mind whom you are addressing – and consider how this person will deal with what they have heard.

Funny story: Our personal highlight of this year's GSA Convention
One event particularly pleased us this year: During a spontaneous workshop visit hosted by one of our customers, we received great praise for our product! Our blink.it representatives attended a presentation by speaker Joachim Simon. He presented the benefits of blink.it for his work from his own conviction. This naturally made us particularly happy!
Review: How was our fifth year at the GSA Convention?
The last few years have encouraged us to participate again in the GSA Convention. We always enjoy being on-site so we can gather new impressions and develop further. And: Particularly this year, we noticed that blink.it is an integral part of the GSA Convention and that our booth almost belongs to the inventory.

Here is a brief overview of our development in recent years:
2015: We were on-site for the first time and got to know the market and the industry as a new company.
2016: After being so enthusiastic from the previous year, we happily returned and made our first connections.
2017: We made a name for ourselves and enthusiastically shared our idea with numerous speakers and trainers.
2018: It was the big “class reunion.” We met familiar faces and received great feedback.
2019: Living room atmosphere!
– This time we enjoyed the impression of a “living room atmosphere,” where everyone knows everyone. We met many clients and acquaintances and felt completely at home. The feedback this year was also overwhelmingly positive. This means: With our visit, we gathered motivation for future projects and will definitely return next year!
